Vanessa began Urban Line Dancing in 1991. She is the founder of
Line Dancing with Vanessa and Vanessa’s Nubian Bootscooters. She
teaches all levels of Urban Line Dancing from beginning to
advanced for all ages. Vanessa has been instructing Contemporary
Ballroom Dance for one year. Her passion and energy for dance will
keep you 'on the dance floor'!
Victor began Contemporary Ballroom dancing in 2006, he trained
under
Kevin "Flash" Collins and has become very efficient in
technique and theory of Contemporary Ballroom. He also studied
Chicago Step with Tulivu Jadi. Victor glides his partner across the
dance floor effortlessly. His style is “smooth like that”.
Victor and Vanessa met in November, 2004. After dancing together
socially, they became dance partners. They started working
together on Contemporary Ballroom, Line Dancing and Chicago Step
and now offer Contemporary Ballroom and Urban Line Dancing
classes in Los Angeles.
They have both studied the style of Mr. Smooth, Calvin Siebert and
incorporate his techniques in their style of dancing. They provide demo
lessons for social gatherings such as parties, dances, public and
private schools.
